Kid's Ministry
At Place of Encounter – Family Worship Church, we believe that every child is a precious gift from God, deserving of love, nurture, and the opportunity to encounter His presence from their earliest years. Our Children's Ministry is rooted in our commitment to the spiritual, emotional, and intellectual development of every young person in our community and beyond.
We are dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming, and faith-filled environment where children of all backgrounds and abilities are embraced. In keeping with our mission of inclusive education, we joyfully serve children with disabilities alongside their peers, affirming the God-given dignity and potential in every child.
Through age-appropriate worship, biblical teaching, and Spirit-led programming led by caring and qualified educators, we partner with families to raise the next generation in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. We are committed to walking alongside parents as their primary spiritual guides, equipping and encouraging them in the sacred work of raising children in faith.
Our ministry extends beyond our walls — reaching families in the Toronto community who are in need of support, belonging, and hope. We invite every child, regardless of circumstance, to discover that this is their Place of Encounter with a God who knows them, loves them, and has a purpose for their lives.

At Place of Encounter – Family Worship Church, we believe that marriage is a sacred covenant ordained by God — a beautiful reflection of His love, faithfulness, and grace. We are excited to announce that we will soon be launching our Marriage Ministry, designed to walk alongside couples at every stage of their journey together.
Our upcoming services will include:
- Marriage Preparation Equipping engaged couples with the tools, wisdom, and biblical foundation needed to build a strong, Christ-centered marriage from the very beginning.
- Marriage Counseling Providing a safe, confidential, and faith-based space for couples seeking restoration, growth, and deeper connection — whether navigating challenges or simply desiring to strengthen their relationship.
- Marriage Officiating Celebrating the covenant of marriage through meaningful, Spirit-led ceremonies that honor God and reflect the unique story of each couple.
We are committed to serving families at every stage — because strong marriages build strong families, and strong families build strong communities.
